" Finishing Science" is the first journal published in Chinese in
the field. It contents plating (including electroplating, vacuum
plating, galvanizing, melting spray plating and electroless
chemical plating), chemical conversion (including treatment of
phosphating, chromating, aluminium anodizing, coloring, printing
and dying), heat treatment, polishing, surface cleaning, corrosive
prevention (including electro-corrosive prevention and lining),
painting (including liquid type, powder type and electro-coating)
are all introduced in our thirty five years old magazine which is
good in both theory and practice. We also include the technical
and marketing information in the field. We understand the
activities in the field by reading the advertisement of equipment
manufacturers in the magazine. It is a magazine, which the
researchers and technicians must read.
We also organize the institute for people specialized in the
field to do more advanced research and socializing besides
publishing. “The Finishing Science Reader’s Institute” sets up
local branches, factory management, plating techniques, painting
techniques, anodizing techniques and special devision for
development in overseas. We have had a lot of distinguished
members who have become the main stream of the industry in Taiwan
through above activities.
